Camping in Autumn

I spent the weekend camping in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.  It was cold, it was wet, and it was wonderful.

Being in nature energizes me, as I’m sure it does others, yet for many people the fall season can be a deterrent.  Even though I was bombarded by the Pacific Northwest’s normative weather (rain!), I was able to enjoy my time in the valley because I went prepared with the right essentials.  If you’re prepared, fall camping can be just as enjoyable as camping in the summer.
