Sound Off on Steelhead and Salmon Conservation Plan

Friday, April 30th, 2010

Over the last 100 years, the population of natural salmon and steelhead in the Lower Columbia River has plummeted. Well, the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has finally said, “No more!”

Sturgeon Season Opens New Year’s Day

Saturday, December 27th, 2008

According to WDFW, the new catch limits were adopted following a decision by the fish and wildlife commissions of both states to extend the management agreement for 2006-08 through 2009.
