Pennsylvania Fisherman – If you are looking for a couple of locations to go fishing over the next month or so, consider Lake Luxembourg and Levittown Lake. Both were stocked in December and January with trout (2,200 were recorded in the December release) and fishing in the area has been relatively light. Experts are saying there should be plenty of fish in the waters for fisherman able to get out there and try.
Lake Luxembourg is a 150 acre water source owned by Bucks County. Because it is part of the Core Creek County Park, there is a small access fee in order to use the area. There is also no night fishing as the park as a sunrise to sunset curfew.
Levittown Lake is a demure 20 acres and is owned by the Commonwealth.
Both lakes are primed for trout fishing with the stocking of winter fish over the last two months. The few men and women that have fished these lakes are catching rainbow trout using commercial green paste baits.
